Acne scars appear as the result of dermis inflammation and usually represent the area of thickened or damaged skin. All acne scars can be subdivided into:
1. Hypertrophic acne scars, which a slight form of keloid scars. These scars are the areas where skin is replaced with either early or late collagen.
